Purity, testing and traceability

Quality is not a word.
It is documented work.

A premium jar, dark colour or home “burn test” cannot establish Shilajit quality. Responsible quality assurance depends on sourcing records, controlled purification, hygienic handling and appropriate batch evaluation.

The Mongrila quality framework

Six checkpoints from source to sale.

The exact manufacturing and testing details must match the product’s records, label and available laboratory documentation.

01

Supplier qualification

Review source documents, product specifications and the supplier’s ability to provide consistent material.

02

Raw material check

Inspect appearance, odour, texture and obvious foreign matter before processing.

03

Controlled purification

Separate soluble resin components from stones, soil and insoluble debris using a documented process.

04

Concentration

Concentrate the filtered material into its finished resin form under controlled handling conditions.

05

Batch evaluation

Assess applicable identity, composition, contaminant and microbiological parameters.

06

Traceable packing

Seal the product with batch, date, storage and customer-support information on the label.

What testing should clarify

A report should answer specific questions.

“Lab tested” is useful only when the report is relevant to the exact product or batch and the result can be interpreted against appropriate limits.

  • Does the sample match the stated product identity?
  • Are relevant heavy metals within applicable limits?
  • Are microbiological parameters acceptable?
  • Does the report identify the sample, date and laboratory?
  • Can the report be linked to a batch or production lot?

Customers may request available product-quality documentation by emailing sales@mongrila.in.

Responsible claims

What Mongrila avoids.

Food and supplement communication should be truthful, unambiguous and consistent with the product label and supporting evidence.

01

Disease cures

No claim that Shilajit diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents a disease.

02

Guaranteed timelines

No promise that every customer will experience a result within a fixed number of days.

03

Fake percentages

No copied fulvic-acid, mineral or purity number without product-specific documentation.

04

Absolute safety

No “zero side effects” promise. Suitability varies by person, health and medicines.

Natural variation

Why resin texture can change.

Shilajit resin may become softer in warmth and firmer in cooler conditions. Modest changes in texture or aroma can occur in naturally derived products.

Temperature behaviour is not a complete authenticity test. Do not microwave the jar, add water directly to the product or use a wet spoon. Follow the storage directions on the physical label.

What to check on your jar.

  • Product name and net quantity
  • Ingredient declaration
  • Batch or lot number
  • Manufacturing and best-before dates
  • Serving, warnings and storage directions
  • Manufacturer, marketer and customer-care details
